Genius Sports Limited → Legend
Genius Sports has signed a definitive agreement to buy Legend, which the release describes as a worldwide digital media network for sports and gaming, in a transaction valued at up to US$1.2bn.
The upfront consideration is US$900m at closing, made up of US$800m in cash and US$100m in stock, plus an earnout of up to US$300m split evenly across the two years after closing.
Genius Sports expected completion in the second quarter of 2026, once the usual closing conditions were met.
