Terms for using IG Metrix

These terms apply to your use of IG Metrix (igmetrix.com). By using the site, you agree to them. If you do not agree, please do not use the site.

What IG Metrix is

IG Metrix publishes statistics on regulated online gambling markets, taken from the official figures that regulators publish. It is a source of market data for professional readers. It does not promote gambling, and it does not offer betting, investment, financial or legal advice.

Using our data and pages

You are welcome to quote figures from IG Metrix and to use our CSV and JSON downloads in your own research, reporting and analysis. When you do, please credit IG Metrix and the regulator that published the figure, and link to the relevant IG Metrix page where you can.

The underlying figures belong to the regulators that publish them, and the regulators' own terms of use also apply to them. The design of this site, our text and our release notes belong to IG Metrix. Please do not republish our pages or text in full without asking us first.

Accuracy

We take care to reproduce official figures correctly: every figure a regulator reported is read from that regulator's file, checked against it, and linked to its source. Growth rates, shares and similar measures are calculated from those figures by code. Mistakes can still happen, and regulators sometimes revise their own figures after publication. The regulator's published file is the authoritative record.

The site is provided "as is". We do not guarantee that it is complete, accurate or up to date at any given moment, or that it will always be available. If a decision of any weight rests on a number, verify it in the regulator's file we link to. When we find an error, we correct it and record the change on our corrections page.

Limits on our responsibility

To the extent the law allows, we are not responsible for any loss arising from your use of, or reliance on, the information on this site. Nothing in these terms limits any liability that cannot be limited by law.

Links to other sites

We link to regulators and other official sources so you can check our figures. We are not responsible for the content or availability of those sites.

Changes

We may update these terms from time to time. The date shown on this page tells you when they last changed.

Law

These terms are governed by the law of England and Wales.
